Torres heading back to Chelsea? No chance, says Mourinho!

first_img Fernando Torres Jose Mourinho has revealed there is no chance of Fernando Torres returning to Chelsea. The Spaniard is currently on a two-year loan at AC Milan but has struggled to make an impact at the San Siro. The Serie A side are reportedly looking to cancel the deal and send the 30-year-old back to Stamford Bridge. But Mourinho insists there is no way back for Torres, who scored just 20 goals in 110 Premier League appearances for the Blues after his £50million move from Liverpool in 2011.“He is on loan for two seasons at AC Milan. He is our player but he’s on loan. We have no space for players either in the Champions League or Premier League [squads],” said Mourinho.“More than possibly he is happy at Milan and they are happy to have him.”While Torres appears to have no future at Chelsea, Mourinho insists that Mohamed Salah IS part of his plans. The Egyptian winger has failed to force his way into the starting XI at Stamford Bridge after his £11m January switch from Basel and has been tipped to move on next month, with Inter Milan keen. But Mourinho said: “Salah is our player. He is a player we like and trust. He is a player from our squad, he’s going nowhere.” 1last_img read more
