first_imgQPR midfielder Adel Taarabt is on the brink of returning to his former club AC Milan, according to reports. The 25-year-old, who spent part of last season on loan at the San Siro side and scored four goals in 14 Serie A appearances, is seemingly surplus to requirements at Loftus Road.Taarabt has rarely featured this season and R’s boss Harry Redknapp claimed in October that the playmaker was “not fit” for first-team football. And now, according to Sky Sport Italia, Taarabt will rejoin Milan on loan in the January transfer window after spurning the chance to sign for Atlanta.Taarabt’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, met with Rossoneri chief executive Adriano Galliani on Sunday to broker the deal which will see the former Tottenham star link up with Filippo Inzaghi’s men until the end of the campaign. The Moroccan’s QPR contract runs until 2016 and the west London side are keen to cash in on his services at the earliest opportunity.
